The father, Odon, and his mate, Jedka, with their two surviving kits, Fen and Lorelai. Fen is the kit with the scarred right eye sitting in front of his mother's stomach. He is a Datch which means he has a connection to the Dream World and can control the spirits, both good and evil, that wander within. Recently, his Clan had found out that they can only become a Datch if they know about their power so the Council made sure that they scarred the kit, making him unable to open up his marked eye. A Datch always has one strikingly bright blue eye that has red surrounding the pupil, making it obvious to point them out from a crowd.
