Light Collectors are small social creatures that gain energy by absorbing small amounts of energy from light sources through a special gland located in their paws. The color of a Light Collector’s glow is dependent on the parent’s glow colors, sometimes combining together to create an entirely new glow color in the kit(s)! Horns only start to glow when the LC reaches maturity, but are born with a glowing tail and small nubby horns that grow as they age. Due to the magic that these little creatures hold in their bodies as well as being incredibly light, they are able to fly on breezes of wind and able to travel great distances this way. Often, wild LCs can be found snoozing on traffic lights or hidden in trees near towns. The brighter a Light Collector's horn and tail glow, the healthier and more full of energy that LC is. LC's favorite light to absorb usually is any light the same color as their own glow. While this energy is what a LC needs in order to survive, they can also enjoy other foods such as fruits, veggies, and even candies!
