The layers are given a set opacity limit, I recommend not touching these unless they interfere with how your textures are looking.
If working on Oekaki, some tips to best fit edits:
Brush size 3 with the pen
Most layers can be recolored except the jelly texture layer
Jelly texture (if edits are heavy for your entries) involve just three colors, lighter blobs, darker blobs, darkest blobs. Style is simplistic so it should be sort of easy to replicate, really I just scribbled random blobs and added spots and funky breaks in the connectivity. Totally cool if it’s not your style of jelly texture, just trying to explain what I did to achieve the look!
-Off oekaki entries should be posted beneath a cover. PSD files are hosted on the Discord under #gunkimals-psd as well as beneath the MYO page!
-Custom lines are perfectly acceptable for an entry!
- I would like to see at least one entry that is on the default lines however.
- Unlimited edits allowed with artist entries
- Claiming will be subject to limitations to deter anyone from hoarding gunks, first claim is FREE, future claims require an MYO ticket and you cannot claim more than 1 Gunkimal within a week’s window unless you’re the artist of the entry! So try to claim gunks you can’t be without!
- Artists will be expected to produce a minimum of 2 designs per month. Quality should be decent but not every adopt you make needs to have edits. A default recolor is perfectly acceptable as a design!
- Artists will be expected to make 3 free adopts for every 1 paid adopt and the free adopts need to come first, always. Paid adopts can be for CS, FR, USD, but you need to have made 3 free prompt, raffle or FCFS adopts before the paid adopt is posted! Someone paying you for an MYO slot doesn’t count and can be completed without free adopt entries.
Post the below form when you’ve finished an entry. If doing multiple entries you only need to post the rarity and traits list, not the whole form again! Answer as honestly as you can, there are no wrong answers, if the minimum design limit is too much for you, say so! I’ll value transparency more than pinning yourself to responsibility you couldn’t keep up on.
