Wanted to try out the Oekaki and see how it worked before I entered for an art thing! took me a bit to figure it out but I think I'm getting the hang of it lol!

I plan to use this as the art for a Gear Deer later! It's name will be Issi which means Deer in the Chahta language. I received an ornament this year that featured the deer in the midst of these trees (and was far prettier than my version lol). It was significant because I joined Gear Deer earlier this year and out of all the subjects they could've chosen, it was the deer!

So after sharing with the GD community, I decided it would be my next custom when I had the chance! And it would be named Issi in honor of the kindness of the Chahta for gifting me with the ornament and the story that accompanied it as well. I'm endeavoring to learn more of my heritage, and I aim to start taking classes on learning how to speak, read and write the language.
