Ferox Welsh Ponies (pron. VEH-rocks) are a hardy pony that originated in Wales. They have fine heads with slightly dished noses, short, muscular legs and stocky bodies. While small - averaging 12 hands - feroxes make good riding horses and are sure-footed owing to the mountains of their origin country. Ferox Welsh Ponies, their name meaning fierce, are known for their big personalities, including a streak of bravery that seems to run through the entire breed. Feroxes are strong but easily handled, making them ideal for all riders. They are frequently seen in bay, black, chestnut and grey, but many other colours have been recorded to appear in the breed, including appaloosa, paint markings and dilutions like champagne.

2. Please be kind and respectful to staff and other users. We have a zero tolerance for bullying, guilt-tripping, and bribery. depending on the severity, a warning or ban from the species will be issued.

3. Ferox Welsh Ponies are a closed species and only allowed artists may use these lines.

4. There is no limit to how many Ferox Welsh Ponies you can own at this time.

5. Offsite storage, like toyhou.se and weebly, is allowed with proper credit such as a link back to the main species thread. Deviantart storage is not allowed.

6. Users are allowed to buy/sell/trade/giveaway Ferox Ponies for any kind of currency (c$, usd, etc). When transferring ownership, the former owner must post on our archive update thread and both parties involved must post on the adoption page. A transfer of ownership is not considered complete until both are done.

7. In the event of a user leaving cs, all Ferox Welsh Ponies may be kept but cannot be sold offsite.

8. In the event of a site or species ban, any owned Feroxes from v4 will be revoked and put up for adoption via raffle.

1. Artists are encouraged to make a minimum of 2 adopts each month.

3. Artists may not make customs or breedings for other users until they have been active for at least 15 days and have made a minimum of 5 adopts.

4. Artists are allowed 1 personal custom a month after they have made 2 adopts. Ghost artists can make one as long as they’ve made at least 1 adopt for the month. These do not roll over into the following month(s) and must be completed by the 15th of the next month.

5. Artists are encouraged to have an understanding of equine and species specific genetics. Questions are always welcome, but we encourage you to utilize the information guide!

6. Please keep coat/marking rarities in mind as you make adopts.

hello all! after finally taking some time to sit down and complete some necessary aspects of the adopt, i have finally gotten to a point where i can softly open version 4 of ferox welsh ponies. i personally do not have the time to create a grand opening event, but you will begin to see new adopts pop up here and there! i'm excited to have these guys back up and running and i hope everyone enjoys them <3
