weehaw! another litter of pups arrives! this bunch is for Stormbird and features their character Raya as the extra parent!! : D
Stormbird gets to select one pup to keep for free, then i will flip a coin on which pup will advance to be the parent of the next rung of the chain. at the end of the chain a good deal of the pups not claimed will be sold so stay tuned for that! anywho, onto the pup breakdowns!
pup 1 - left - sky dino
fun fact i actually designed this pup last! this pup's colors are a mix of both parents, i took raya's light grey and some blues from my parent together, then included raya's purple and teal but included parent B's yellow. this pup has markings similar in style to raya, but with texture (spotting) taken from B's patterns, as well as some other marks from B such as the spotting on their hind leg, the lighter spotting on their face/face marks in general, their tail tip, the starry freckles, etc. i wanted their accents to be the soft pastely colors and i think it turned out looking really cute!! in my brain this pup has mismatched pawpad colors of their tree pastel accents. this pup has horns and scruffy fur like B, as well as a full fluffy mane! but in addition, they also inherited raya's dragon nose, heart-shaped pupils, and dragon tail.
pup 2 - middle - starstorm
this pup takes its colors mostly from B, but relies more heavily on raya for marking inspiration to level it out. for this pup i only used the yellow as an accent except for the eyes, which are raya's middle blue color. i again took texturing from B in the form of those fun layered spots that work as a sort of pseudo-gradient, and included more star freckles because i am quite frankly obsessed with them. i'd say from parent B i got their colors, their face markings, the spots and back markings, and the tail tip marking. the base body markings are from raya, such as the mane, foreleg markings, dark colored ears, darker tail with light underside, and the sock-markings on their front and hind legs. they inherited B's ears, fluffy hair and horns, and raya's heart pupils, wings, and tail spikes-- but i kept their tail standard like B's as a fun lil mutation!
pup 3 - right - dragonscale
this pup takes their colors mostly from raya, but i overlayed some blue on them to saturate them more akin to B's to get a neat lil blend! on this pup i took raya's fun purple/blue/teal accents and used it for the areas B has yellow in, and i think it turned out looking really pretty!! since i mostly took from raya for colors, i stuck mostly to B for markings, so you can see they have that fun pseudo-gradient with the spotting starting light at the face and concluding in dark colors at their paws/tail tip. i included raya's face markings and tried to make their hair more styled after raya, as well as including raya's darker colored ears. this pup is my personal favorite because i find the blue-greys and the pastel colors so satisfying together! this pup trait-wise inherited B's ears, horns, and mane fluff, while inheriting raya's dragon nose, wings, and dragon tail.

i AM a little sad that the moon marking on B's forehead got kind of lost in the sauce, but it just didn't feel like it fit with any of the pups so alas, it is what it is. sometimes the vibes just aren't right, yanno?
