- I try to pop in and check for new submissions when I can, but it is much faster and easier for me to see when people submit entries when they comment here and it bumps this thread to the top of my “My Posts”. Thank you!
Also: Due to general work/life busyness and very fleeting motivation, I am going to start being a bit more selective about the submissions that I claim. If I do not claim your design, you are free to do whatever you’d like with it.
I’ve been debating on posting one of these and decided it seemed like a fun way to widen my designing horizons! I’m pretty excited to see what you all come up with, too. c:
I’ll most likely continue to complete all of my sides on Oekaki. They’ll be higher quality than those cover doodles, I promise. 😅 You can see some of my design work in my CS gallery, and to get a better idea of what I like design-wise you can take a look at my current characters here. c:
Likes:
- Creatures/Hybrids/Mutants (Combinations of different species)
- More complex designs
- **Uncommon species & uncommon dog breeds!**
- Designs based around natural markings and colors with unnatural twists (Like sparingly used unnatural elements: Unusual colors, shimmer/sparkle, glow, etc.)
- Nature/Earth (Cottagecore/Forestcore)
- Dark academia vibe/palettes are neat c:
- Classical/Rococo style/intricacy
- Medieval magic/Skyrim vibes : o
- Natural or softer palettes, can be dark or light.
- Cool accessories! I love little bags and collars and harnesses and trinkets and all of that fun stuff. (very crow-brained :> what can I say)
- I like unique, fun, different designs. Feel free to stray from the above things, they’re just little suggestions. I have quite a range of designs I’ve loved that look vastly different from each other, so just focus on creativity. c:

x Overly simple designs. I like detail, and I put a lot of effort and detail into my sides. c:

x Horses (I don’t dislike horses, I love them. As you can see from my horse doodle... It’s just for the best. 😬) - You can definitely do a creature with equine like features, though!
x Overly bright/Eye-burning colors
x Punk/Goth
x Gore
I will not(/cannot) design:
- Humans - My human anatomy is garbage and I’m not working on it. 😬
- Anthros - Same kinda issue here ^
- Gore - Woop can’t draw it if you won’t look at it and I’m not lookin at nasty things no thank u
