"The weather has been exceptionally strange within the wild areas here lately. It's like nature can't quite make up it's mind. The animals certainly seem confused too - except for this odd herd of sveldalas spotted in the valley, who have found a way to roll with the sudden snowfalls shifting to suffocating heat no problem. From what we can tell so far, the herd is technically two family groups come together in one place - half with soft foggy white marks, and others with stark burnt-looking white marks. While one group is out foraging and maintaining territory in the wind and rain and snow, the other group rests. When the weather shifts to dripping humidity and scorching sun, the opposite group goes out to continue the days tasks. It's just so interesting! We hope that getting some folks out there to observe and interact with the sveldalas might lend some information on what is happening with the odd weather patterns. They certainly seem more comfortable with humans than most wild herds, so we are bound to make some friends too! Ready to help?"
Step 1: Pick one of the two element jars - fire, or water. You may ONLY pick one. When that file is open and viewable, color in the element however you'd like. This can be simple colors, patterns, full drawings, literally whatever you want to do. These colors and patterns will inspire the sveldalas's elemental and eye colorations.
Step 2: Once you're done coloring, post your creation with the form provided below. Be sure to fill everything in exactly as noted. You may NOT pick 'artists choice'/'random' for this one - be specific please.
~ Base color includes bay, seal, chestnut, or black. You can attach specific terms to these if desired (such as wild bay, sun-bleached black, honey chestnut, etc).
~ Dilutions and modifiers includes things like silver, dun, cream, champagne, flaxen, greys, roan, etc, as well as anything marked as a modifier/dilution in our rarity guide. **ADDED 7/5 please do not request singed/misted. This event is based on those modifiers. They are already preset ^^'
~ If you do not want any dilutions/modifiers then please specifically add 'none' to this space.
~ Please only select common or uncommon rarity markings. Rare/limited is not allowed for this event.
~ You may only choose white markings for this event, and they are absolutely required - if you do not add white markings, you will be skipped.

Step 3: Be patient! We absolutely intend to do our best to get to as many people as possible before the event ends, however it is a short one, so we cannot promise anything. It's also important that you keep an eye on your post, as an artist will 'claim' it and require you to give them access to your drawing in order to create your foal. If you do not do this within a timely manner, the artist reserves the right to skip over you to prioritize people who have already added them.
Once you do receive your sveldala however, be sure to grab them! While you're welcome to take your time naming them, you do need to at least post something on the resulting design to ensure that you have claimed ownership of them. Any sveldalas left completely unclaimed within a week after the end of the event may be revoked by the artist and either kept, gifted, or readopted as they see fit. We will not be sending out any reminders about this as that would take a huge chunk of time so it's entirely up to you.

Rules
- One color-in per user, one sveldala per user. You may not create or request multiple.
- This is to ONLY be used for the express purposes of the event. CS mods will lock or delete your post if it is used in any other way.
- You must have the form added to your post, properly completed, in order to be considered.
- Your desired markings/specialty genes must fall into the common or uncommon categories, no rare or limited tier options are available for this event.
- You may not touch the other layers. Please only open and draw on things labeled 'color here'.
- Please do not edit the lines or add additional things around your jar/element. Keep it simple and focus on the design within the element layer.
- Ten second flat colors will just simply be skipped. It does not need to be a grand masterpiece, but please put something creative into it and get us excited about your ideas. Artists do not generally get inspired by laziness.
- If you do not like your resulting sveldala, you are welcome to return them to the artist who may either keep them for themselves or readopt/gift however they see fit. You will not be allowed to make another blanket for a different sveldala though, it is simply a forfeit from the event.
- Do not bully our staff if you do not get chosen or if your sveldala design takes some time to get posted. You will either choose kindness or you will not be a part of our community. If you have genuine questions/concerns, please send me a PM to discuss and I will be more than happy to help!
