I had only heard of the Volx up until my third venture into this world. It was while I was recording the local flora that I felt eyes upon me, and it only took a moment to find out from where I was being watched. From in the trees sat a Volx, watching with an unreadable gaze. Cautious, but confident. I waved. They nodded a reply.
