Write about how you met your Volx!: I met Carmine while on a walk across Elysia. She was hidden beneath a vibrant plant that looked similar to a prickly pear cactus, huddled between the large cactus pads. She'd pricked herself with them, the spines littering her fur, but she seemed oblivious, curled up tight in her little den. She startled as I accidentally stepped on a stick, her ears up and fur bristling. We stared at one another, wide eyed. Then, she calmed, and rose with a yawn, stepping delicately out from the plants, and I cautiously brushed the spines gently from her fur.
