If you asked Ethereal, he would tell you he had a happy childhood. His father was as doting as any kid could wish for. He had fond memories of his dad using his dreamweave magic to make stars fall, Real would race to catch them. The bond he felt with his dad was unparalleled... then Ethereal hit puberty, and his magic came in. It was like his father vanished and left behind this cold, and calculating figure. Nothing Real did was right, nothing was ever enough. He couldn't get back the father that brought down the shooting stars.
