welcome to kelters!

kelters are fuzzy weasel like critters with large bat noses, pouches, and a stinger tipping their tails! their other traits can vary widely. some have been known to have wings, glow, multiple ears, tails, and additional limbs. maybe their DNA is unstable? we're not sure. but whatever the reason, they're popular companions.

kelters have up to two young in a litter, called keltlings. the young lack developed ears and horns which grow in as they mature, and their parents take turns protecting the keltlings in their pouches until they reach maturity.

rules

• kelters are a closed species created by paro, meaning that
  non staff may not make adoptable/premade designs for profit
  
  
• reselling kelters for more than purchased is prohibited
  
  
• kelters may be traded for other kelters or kelter items two weeks after ownership
  
  
• staff may take commissions for customs in any currency (USD, C$, etc.), and sell a premade kelter for every one that they make.
  
  
• transfers into and out of the species are allowed if approved by the artist(s) and the species owner(s) and items if required
  
  
• respect others, be kind, and do not beg/whine/threaten others for kelters
  
  
• you may not edit the lines, design, or other aspects of an owned kelter without prior approval and, if needed, the right items
  
  
• you may add items, change expression, etc. without approval
  
  
• kelters may not be traded for other species/other species' items/etc. at this time.
  
  
• you must wait one week before breeding a kelter. bred kelters
  have a two week cooldown once the ticket is accepted.
  
  
• kelters only have four nursery slots. if two users are involved in a ticket, the batch will always have two keltlings.

• staff have unlimited passes for myos + breedings for the months they are active (two adopts/breedings from artists, and presence on the discord + threads if needed by mods.)
