It was intended to be like, an elkhound or keeshond type of dog and the little jewelry bits are carved bone and leather. I kept getting Modest Mouse songs on shuffle so they ended up kind've mopey looking haha.

Canines like coyotes, or less used ones like dingo, maned wolves, dhole stuff like that
Natural colors typically
I really like red/orange-ish tan colors typically
like deserty colors with white markings
but some unnatural colors are cool too
I'm not really too terribly picky
I do not like:
bugs/bug parts
overly complex
not too fond of anthros
