I don't know which of these will be available for claiming yet (and I'm also not sure how claiming works if there are only custom tickets available at the moment... unless they also double as artist entry claim tickets?? Or did I read the artist search rules wrong and these can't be claimed???)

if someone is taken on as a guest artist they may keep one of their entries as a cannon lagawin- as a prize for joining the team for a bit . which means the lagawin will be added to the archive and wouldn't be a "fake" lagawin as all entries are . the artist is allowed to determine which of their entries they would like to keep as a custom .

Alright, so only guest artists may keep a singular entry. The other entries would be there for others to look at, but not touchy.

From what I've seen in closed species, there's usually a way to claim an artist's entry in the artist search by using an MYO ticket (or, in this species' case, a custom ticket) with the appropriate rarity attached (so a standard custom ticket to claim a standard artist entry, an uncommon custom ticket to claim an uncommon artist entry, etc.). Once an entry has been 'claimed' with a ticket, that entry would become a cannon lagawin and would belong to the user who 'claimed'. The user would need the artist's permission, of course, but it guarantees that any and all designs created eventually get a home.

that can absolutely be allowed ! if someone wishes to use a ticket to claim someone's entry ( ofc with artists permission ) then that'll be more that fine
