- No one knows where they came from, but Pantry Puffs are taking the kitchen world by storm. These small creatures made of mostly fluffy hair (they probably have little bodies in there somewhere) have been appearing in kitchens, pantries, and other food-centric locations around the world. The strange phenomenon was first noted when a baker forgot to store miniature cupcakes over night, and he woke up to fewer cakes and more friends. The creatures scoot around using their front legs, but there have been reports of Pantry Puffs utilizing teleportation to aid in counter and cabinet raids.
The Puffs have a grumpy face and chatter angrily if you threaten the treats that they covet, but they are ultimately harmless and make fun pets that come in any variety of colors. Since chefs and bakers are slowly becoming overrun, many are offering pet Puffs to the public to supplement their business and make up for lost product.
2023 - Pantry Puff biologists have returned from the field with an exciting update. Spontaneous generation of puffs has been recorded in novel locations: greenhouses, gardens, rock shops, mines, antique shops, craft stores, etc. Particularly greedy puffs have even been humanely relocated from bank vaults. Thus, the existence of puff subtypes has been confirmed.

- - Pantry Puffs may be sold for the price that you paid for them (up to 50 C$) or traded directly for other pantry puffs.
- Pantry Puffs may be given as gifts.
- After a sale or transfer, the original owner must post on the original Oekaki thread to document the ownership change.
