Entry for a species design contest. This is a yet-to-be-named species of large cat / mammal that lives by lakes and large rivers. They are strong swimmers and they primarily eat fish. The lure like end of their tails are used to attract fish close enough for their broad paws and hooked claws to scoop the fish out of the water. Long front canines then guarantee they can hold onto the slippery food.

I thought it might be a fun play on the "mackerel" color pattern cats can sometimes have. I'll bump with a name later.
