The Grasmere Miniature Horse is a result of 300 years of selective breeding to produce a small, well-balanced breed. Once used in the coal mines, Grasmere Miniature Horses are commonly used for driving, but are also seen in showing classes and occasionally in-hand jumping. Despite being very small, Grasmeres are very versatile and carry plenty of strength and agility.

These petite horses are gentle and affectionate companions for anybody of any age, experience and ability.

Rules

⬩ CS rules should be followed.
⬩ Grasmere Miniature Horses should not be taken offsite unless done so for storage (toyhouse, wix etc).
⬩ Storage is required in order to breed, compete, explore and purchase imports.
⬩ Grasmere Miniature Horses cannot be sold for any form of currency, but can be given away to other members for free, for slots, event tokens and shop items.
⬩ This is a closed species. Altering coats, tack etc is not permitted. Creating your own Miniature is also not permitted.
⬩ Banned CS users will have their miniatures readopted out.
⬩ As always, respect other members and staff at all times.

Breed Information

⬩ Grasmere Miniature Horses should not exceed 38" and should be no shorter than 30".
⬩ They should present a broad forehead with large eyes.
⬩ Clean, refined muzzle.
⬩ Short back and loins.
⬩ Smooth, level topline.
⬩ Hooves should be round and compact.
⬩ Grasmere Miniature Horses are used for driving, halter/showing and inhand jumping.

Stats

All Grasmere Miniature Horses will be presented with 3 stats: strength, agility and mind.
Strength: This is a crucial stat to have for those that want to excel in driving.
Agility: This stat plays a huge role in in-hand jumping.
Mind: This stat is important for all competitions. A horse with a higher number in this stat will be more confident in shows, therefore increasing their performance. Highly mindful horses will also have a stronger bond with their owners, increasing their chances of finding items/currency whilst out and about.

Regular adopts will have stats that range from 0-15. Stats cannot be improved and can only be increased through breeding higher stat offspring.

Rarities

Common: Chestnut, Black, Bay, Flaxen, Sooty, Grey, Seal, Single Cream, Tobiano, Silver, Splash, Pangare/Mealy
Uncommon: Champagne, Pearl, Gulastra Plume, Dun, Birdcatcher Spots, Overo, Roan, (Varnish, Snowflake, Frosted), Double Cream
Rare: Dominant White, Mushroom, Rabicano, (Leopard, Snowcap, Fewspot), Sabino
Limited: Brindle
Undesirable/Not Seen: Lacing, Manchado
