although i guess the real chicoon birthday was October back in 2019 lol!
Chicoons have given me the opportunity to meet some wonderful people, and improve so much on my art!
i look back to the original lines pretty often and i am amazed where I've gotten now ;v;
so an event like this is the least i can do for the species!! I really hope this gives a lot of people the chance to own their own chicoon!
This mini-event will not replace our fall event or chicoon 1000!
However, our fall event will be much closer to the end of October/beginning of November!
Additionally, some of you may already be aware, but many chicoons will be hitting their 1-year mark pretty soon! With that, it may be possible to revamp your chicoon! (rules 10 and 11 in "Transfers & Growths") More information about that will be posted soon in the discord & described soon on the archive thread!

Event Rules.
- > All chicoons must have "unapproved" visible until they are approved.
> The birthday-themed Whutta is optional but free to add to your chicoon! You may not use the designed whutta from the cover, you may design your own. Only Chicoon staff may edit the Whutta lines.
> Other companions (official and unofficial) are not available for these chicoon during the event, until the chicoon is approved.
> traits not listed below cannot be applied to these chicoons until they have been approved. this includes trying to apply items from past events or the shop.
> Each user may make/commission 1 chicoon for themselves during the event.
> there is no limit to the number of traits a chicoon can have from this event, only which traits a chicoon can have
> edits to the confetti and party horn is allowed, as long as they still follow the trait description
> The event trait is required
> An eye reference, a mouth reference, and a palette reference is required
> all standard chicoon rules apply
> You are not required to make your own chicoon as long as they are still created within the time limit. (exceptions/extensions will not be provided!)
> Users are welcome to charge any currency for custom chicoons during this event.
> Tail stripes are required, 2-3 for uncommon, 4+ for common. tail stripes will always be solid-colored, hard-edged bars across the chicoons tail.
> There will be no extensions to this event
> The Chicoon Fire/Flame can only be colors found in the chicoon flame palette
> Modifying the chicoon flame lineart is discouraged, as it may make your flame color look like something other then legal flames and may get your chicoon denied.
> No New designs will be accepted after 6am October 3rd (Pacific Time) (aka you have today, and tomorrow to make your myo!)
> Chicoon approvals will close October 6th at 6am (Pacific Time) Any chicoons not approved by that time will not be approved
> Chicoons from this event will be approved on this thread. After the chicoon is approved, please continue to use the normal archive for future changes to the chicoon.

Event trait:
- This event trait is called "Party Horn"
This trait replaces a chicoons tongue, so chicoons with this trait cannot carry tongue edits. The Party Horn trait gives a chicoon a tongue like a man-made party horn as well as allows the chicoon to explode decorative confetti from their mouth (the 'explosion' makes this sound!)! The confetti is temporary and will slowly fade after being created by a chicoon. The confetti can come in any color or shape but will always look like man-made confetti. The party horn tongue is not limited to any colors or patterns.
