lore: they have long ears to detect prey from a large distance away, though they no longer rely on sonar as their eyes have enhanced past blindness. they have a craving for blood as their primary diet, so their teeth have developed into fine, large saber-like teeth for a hard to escape grasp while they lap up the blood by tearing their prey's skin and muscle. the bat dogs have devolved their wings into the small wings you see on the dogs elbow.
