What are Kibbins?

Kibbins are soft, doughy cats that hatch from mysterious orbs. These orbs can be found floating in the Silver Stream; it's as simple as plucking one out and waiting for it to hatch! The Kibbins inside can come in all shapes and colors, ranging from natural to completely unnatural!

How does this work?

Kibbins are originally found in orbs floating down the Silver Stream. When one is pulled out, you can see that it has a hazy pinkish color, almost like fogged glass! The orbs are very delicate, although inside you can make out the faint image of a strange object! These are called orb hints. Orb hints give you an idea of what kind of kibbin may hatch! Take Sprout, our mascot, for example! When I pulled Sprout's orb from the stream, all I could make out was the faint image of a bright green leaf; so when Sprout hatched with a lil...well..sprout.. on his head, it didn't come as a surprise!

These hints may show on a hatched kibbin in the form of an object or as a marking! There's hearsay that sometimes the kibbin's actual body can change to reflect the orb hint, but we haven't seen anything like that so far!

✧ Customs will be open to the artist's discretion, this includes price, design capabilities, and time period to finish orders
✧ Any USD sales must be conducted off-site

✧ Kibbins may only be revealed after a comp has a declared winner! Please replace the orb image with the kibbin instead of doing a color-in

Kibbins have different natures which will affect how they appear, pose-wise! Perhaps more will be discovered as more orbs are pulled from the stream~

Pleasant kibbins are cheerful, calm, and clever cats! You'll often find them just sitting there, staring and purring because they're just so dang happy! It's hard to make these kibbins upset, unless you deny them a petting!

Clumsy kibbins are poofy lil balls of frustration, why do they always fall down?? Don't let that grumpy face fool you, though! These kibbins still love cuddles and are purrfectly content with being used as a pillow!

Welcome to the Kibbin Cat Cafe! A creamy siamese greets you and you find out their name is Bean! Bean gestures to a large vending machine with strange symbols scribbled all over it, which upon closer inspection you find out are just words in terrible paw-writing. Taped to the front of the vending machine is a sign in the same bad writing, "Stuff for Treats" it reads. Treats?

Cat Treats are the Kibbin form of honorable mentions and can be used as currency to get items from the vending machine! Artists may grant a cat treat to users on competitions who didn't win, but who the artist feels deserves an honorable mention!
