Returning from a family vacation in the mountains and got to see the lunar eclipse happening! Yes I painted this in the car pretty dang good in my opinion for having been on a bumpy old interstate

I did get to see it go totally red for just a few minutes before a big heckin cloud decided that the show was over ooof x_X

I was at work. 😅But I kept running out in between customers to see it's progress. I saw it when there was a tiny sliver of the moon left, then right when it barely got fully covered and appearing brown with a hint of red. Then it got busy and by the time I managed to get back out there, it was over 😞

This is beautiful! I could never draw in a moving vehicle. I got terrible motion sickness that doesn't allow me to draw or read anything in the car. The feature is definitely deserved!

Atleast you saw a few minutes of it! We had clouds here and there that got in the way. I wish I would have checked it one last time when we got home but by that time I was half dead tired 😅
