I was thinking about the subterranean swamp from Sacria when making them, but that's just a suggestion you don't have to put them there if you decide to use them ^^

Carnivore

- canine in form
- nose seals to prevent water from flooding when underwater
- webbed paws help swimming and walking on marshy land
- oily fur keeps the water from soaking into their undercoat
- blunt nails
- powerful bite force helps lock onto prey
- clear third eyelid helps to see when underwater
- large lung capacity allows them to hold their breath for long periods of time
- bioluminescent underbelly causes surrounding water to glow when submerged
- water glow attracts prey, they submerge up to their neck ruffs (which mimics a local plant in shape)
- typically lie in wait in shallow water, lunge upwards to grab prey when it approaches
- enjoys floating in deep water recreationally
- belly stripes resemble the plant's roots, attracts small fish when floating

Plant

- the plant is highly nutritious, makes a decent snack for local fauna
- tastes like cucumbers
- roots of the plant glow
- can be used in medicine, soothes toothaches (roots only)

Thanks!! Feel free to mess around with their description too, I threw down the ideas I had while designing but you can def change/add whatever you want really!

It also very much slipped my mind to put down the sort of stuff I'm interested in too lmao. I like feral creatures that have a not-quite-right sort of feeling to them, where at first glace they look like they're fine but there's just something off about them when you take a closer look. Like, hm, like cryptids! I really like the ones that are vaguely feline/canine in form but the closer you get the more off they are. Honestly anything that's vaguely feline/canine tends to be right up my ally ^^
