Prompt writing: He hangs out with all his friends and family and even barn mates and wait for new years to roll around (he tells the same joke every year before the new year: See Ya Next Year!) and nobody is impressed bc nobody thinks it's funny but him but that is okay as long as everyone has fun! Prompt writing: When new year's gets close Derby can't contain his excitement. He'll start decorating his stable with balloons, streamers or anything signifying the start of a new year. With a party hat atop his head, Derby will join the party and enjoying the festivities by engaging in the recollections of stories from throughout the year. Upon coming closer to the night, he'll join in with everyone as they count down the seconds. When the countdown finishes Derby will tell 'HAPPY NEE YEAR' and cheer and blow on his party horn, ecstatic for a new year.
Prompt resolution:
Derbys new year resolutions are firstly he wants to help as many people as he can whether it simply be helping someone cross the street or help with their shopping. Secondly he wants to better himself and be more of a star this year that he was last year.

Prompt writing: They walk around spreading holiday cheer to everyone they meet! They gather up all of the decorations and sometimes a leftover christmas tree that they "forget" to take down. They call their friends and offer help with whatever they need to do. They even go out of their way to wrap bonus presents and send them out as "late" christmas gifts.
Prompt resolution: Find more gifts for next year! Next year, they'll find a way to gather up all of their friends and do an amazing secret santa.

Prompt writing: On New Years, Firefly has a really important job. Other pegadeer's hooves cannot light up the fireworks' tails, but somehow Firefly's could. Thus, it has been Firefly's job to light the fireworks on every New Years. He loves his job, because he loves to see the other Pegadeer cheerfully counting down to New Years. Although it sure is one draining job, Firefly doesn't mind at all, rather he finds it heartwarming.
Prompt resolution: Firefly wants to help the other Pegadeer. His hooves are able to create warmth, and Firefly aims to use that to help Pegadeer when winter comes, where they get freezing cold.

Prompt writing: "Nebula has been spending a lot of time inside this year... maybe I could help them see the beauty of nature as the new year starts?" Pep wonders as he starts up towards Nebula's house. Pep raises one hoof and knocks on the door, and Nebula opens it up after a couple of minutes, yawning.
"Pep...? What are you doing here, at this hour?" Nebula exclaims as they recognize the pegadeer standing patiently outside their door.
"I noticed you were inside a lot this year, so I wanted to see if I could get you outside before school starts up again!" the peppy deer says.
"You know why I wasn't able to go outside! I was sick most of the time!" Nebula fires back, and Pep calms down.
"That doesn't mean you continue the trend, silly! Come out, it's snowing!" Pep continues. Nebula watches as Pep begins to dig his hooves into the fresh snow. "Let's go see the square lights!"
Nebula groans. "Promise you'll leave me alone after this?" Pep nods.
Nebula closes the door, and in a few minutes they were back outside, wearing warmers and a striped scarf.
"OK, let's go!" Pep bounced away, and Nebula quickly followed, already wishing they were back inside.
The night was quickly spent seeing the aforementioned lights in the square, after which Pep convinced Nebula to go sledding with him. Nebula, through all of this, kept up their quickly fading facade that this was not exciting. Pep could tell they were having fun though, they even cracked a smile once!
It was dawn when the two returned to Nebula's house. Nebula told Pep to go home, but Pep had one question before he left: "Did you have funnnn??!"
"Sure, let's say that." Nebula closed the door, but as Pep was about to turn around, he heard the tiniest laugh come from behind the door.
Pep brightened and went about his day, knowing he made a difference.
Prompt resolution: Nebula wants to spend more time outside with their best friend!
