I am no good at landscape/background/scenery painting but I was proud enough of the progress I'd made so far to post it, as late as it is. also, mods, feel free to move to humanoid if you think the soldier is more of a focus point than the poppy field, in the final painting he probably would've been blurred and out of focus.

edit: woah okay these colors are way too saturated on mobile and presumably on any new device period, my laptop's (an old laptop) color space and gamut is really different so these all look far less saturated on my screen, sorry about that
