Discovery | Lore
In 1973, an explorer had entered a foreign land populated by a solitary tribe known as “Pyv-tivit”, as discerned from previous explorers' attempts to study the grasslands. At that time, the explorer was received with hostility from Pyv-tivit tribesmen, and was forced to leave. However, this particular explorer was stubborn, and planned to return to either attempt to communicate with the tribe, or work quietly and (hopefully) undiscovered.
Due to a series of obstacles and challenges, said explorer was only able to make his next trip in the year 2003. At this point, the explorer had a number of health related issues that could potentially interfere with his studies and process. However, stubborn as he was, he made the trip... only to collapse before some tribesmen who had already discovered his appearance, and had been watching him.
Waking up in a warm bed in a beautifully artistic wooden cabin was not something the explorer expected, nor did he expect there to be a warm meal beside him. But, he soon came to learn that the tribe that'd acted with hostility those years ago was actually a very peaceful and considerate community with a desire to protect their land and those they love. Trusting outsiders had been a mistake on other occasions, but they wouldn't leave an old man who'd collapsed as the explorer had.
In Pyv-tivit, the explorer struggled to communicate well – however, he was willing to learn as best he could. He was an outsider, but became a trusted guest in time. He learned through stories and demonstration the secrets these lands had to offer, but one aspect of the tribe's community really piqued his interest. The Pyv-tivit tribe had domesticated and trained generations of creatures known as Cebaros, a local species that seemed different from anything the explorer had seen before. It wasn't until he bonded with one himself that he realized his calling – he was going to introduce these creatures to the rest of the world.

Biology & Feature Overview
Other Species | Similarity Reference
- (Bats)”Nose-leaf”:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nose-leaf
- Cebaros have a flesh slab that rises above the base of their nose. It's similar to the “Nose-Leaf” of some bat species. Its purpose appears to mostly be for communication, as its movement (rotating, flattening, lifting, twitching) and dedicated muscles indicate a developed capability for less than essential, intricate manipulation.
- (Capybara) Spinal Structure:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capybara
https://www.nationalgeographic.com/anim ... bara-facts
- When examining the bone structure of a Cebaros, there are some clear similarities to the Capybara – mainly in the skull shaping and upper spine. They are also similar in overall size, on average.
- (Boars) Back Leg Structure:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_boar
- Cebaros tend to have wide, strong legs to support their bodies. Their back legs are built similarly to a wild boar's back legs, and are just as sturdy supporting their frame.
- (Felidae) Front Leg Structure:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felidae
- Cebaros have sturdy, wide front legs which are exceptionally controllable for movement and environmental or social interaction.
- (Canidae) Paws and Pawpads:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canidae
- Cebaros are pawed creatures (with the exception of rare mutation). Their paws, pawpad structure and texture is very similar to that which you would see on a canine.
