how's it feel to be at the center of magic
to linger in tones and words?
i opened the floodgates
and found no water, no current, no river, no rush

listened to a song one too many times and my brain went "if i don't draw something immediately i will literally snap" and it wouldn't let me focus on my report nor my research proposal so,, here. first art piece i'm proud of in WEEKS. i'm actually trying to cut back on the impulsive art because i want to learn to take my time and not rush my art again, but i'll allow this today. i'm hoping i'll be able to make cleaner lines and better shading on off-oekaki pieces, though. maybe oekaki will just be for speedy/low-effort stuff, iunno
art is frustrating i can never understand it :p

pfft, thank you!! this is actually one of the few times i had a fully realized concept at the start, though, which is why i didn't mind going through with it. usually i end up with a nice pose but no idea how to decorate the canvas around it, and it ends up being a compositional mess :p
