I remember the fire. I had watched it slither into my home, everything it touched was instantly turned to a crisp. It was so fast, there wasn't time to grab anything we could only watch from afar. The screams were drowned out by the laugh of the fire, It cackled and howled with delight as it consumed.

I remember the man who owned the fire. I could never forget those eyes as he watched it all burn. How could he be so cold surrounded by the blaze. I had wondered what it would feel like to be so powerful, to control such a force as a fire.
