It's been three years and I have no desire to return to these.

What are Snooty Deer?

Snooty Deer (or Snoots as I often call them) are just... well. They're deer. Cute, little, deformed deer. That are snooty.
A++ on the species description, Panda^


Consider everything from the old version of the species obsolete. Markings, traits, shop items and uses, etc.
This unfortunately also includes old Snoots.
(Seeing as how the lines have changed and, as mentioned, traits/markings.)

To be fair, I never expected to come back to this "species."
But those who have old Snoots and would like to use them again, we can discuss "transferring" designs onto these newer lines.
Check out "Something Old, Something New" to do this.

Border Color Guides:



Free Adopts have a blue border.
These include anything from minimal to high effort adopts, but they're free.

Please do not ask to be a staff member.
If and when I decide I would like some adoption artists, I will announce it. ^^;

Do not make a Snooty Deer of your own.
While Snooty Deer are a closed species, deer are not-- I wouldn't even try to stop someone from making deer (lol).
Just please don't associate them with the Snooty Deer species or attempt any outside-breedings. x.x

Do not turn your Snoot into another species (ie; transferring the design.)
Snooty Deer are FERAL deer, they do not have any other forms.

Snooty Deer are not people.
They don't have jobs like people do, they don't dress up or accessorize.
(Adding items onto your deer is completely fine, but keep in mind it does nothing for breeding.)

If you've purchased or adopted a Snoot:
Please credit me (Pandapop) for the lines, design and species.

If a player is banned, they may keep their Snoots, but are unable to interact with the species.
This means: no breeding, no adult transfers, no adopting, no participating in events, no trading, no selling, etc.
Their Snoots will have a transparent cover placed over them and cannot be interacted with in any way.

Breeding Information

Breeding is currently closed.

It costs 50 C$ (or $2.00 USD) to breed.
This also covers the cost of the adult transfer.
(This fee is free if you have a breeding pass)

Two related deer CANNOT breed.

Deer are either bucks or does, no in-between.
(Snoots are not people.)

Bucks cannot breed with other bucks unless an item is used that overrides this.

Does cannot breed with other does unless an item is used that overrides this.

For story-making or world-building, your Snoots may absolutely have same-sex love interests.
This is strictly for breeding purposes!

The gestation time of a deer is 14 days (two full weeks.)

Fawns take a full 30 days to grow into adults.
Fawns are determined to be bucks or does at birth.
Does are more common - there is a 1 in 10 chance of a baby being male.

Newly grown fawns must wait a full 7 days (one week) before they are able to breed.

The rarer the trait, the less of a chance it has of passing.
(Traits are guaranteed to pass if both parents have them.)

Very Rare traits are not passable unless both parents possess that same trait.
(Or a Golden Wish Potion is used at the time of breeding.)

Snooty Deer come in any color and sport all sorts of markings.
Eyes, hooves and horns will always be the same color(s).

[c] Common: 80% passing rate.
eye edits (sparkles), teeth edits (small), face edits (cheek fluff), hair edits (tufts), horn edit (small), face edit (brow edits)

[uc] Uncommon: 40% passing rate.
fur edits (extra or long fluff), teeth edits (fangs), ear edits, tail edits (short/medium), face edits (lashes), horn edit (medium)

[r] Rare: 15% passing rate.
pupil edits (natural shapes), gem horns/hooves, crystals, glow/bioluminescence, wings (small), growths (plants/flowers), tail edits (long), body edits (manes, feathers, scales), horn edit (large), teeth edits (saber fangs), face edit (teardrop brows), face edit (cheek feathers/scales)

[vr] Very Rare: 0% passing rate.*
pupil edits (unnatural shapes/no shape), wings (large), halo, full-body edits, wisps, tail edits (very long), face edit (brows - unnatural shapes)

*Very Rare traits do not pass unless both parents have the same one, or a Golden Wish Potion is used at the time of breeding.

Some items restock monthly while others (rarer) are bi-monthly.

Custom Creation:

Newly created customs must wait one full week (7 days) before they are able to breed.

Choose a palette or mood board only.
(All traits are decided/rolled by me at random.)
((Gender is rolled at random - bucks are rarer and less likely to roll.))

Stock: 3/3 (restocks monthly)
Same as bronze, but also choose up to three desired traits up to rare (only 1 from rare).
(You may or may not roll for more traits, this is decided via random number generator.)

Stock: 0/2 (restocks bi-montly, last restock: September)
Same as bronze, but also choose up to five desired traits of any rarity up to very rare (only 1 from very rare).

Instant Breed Potion: 100 C$ (or $2.50)
Stock: 5/5 (restocks monthly)
Instantly renews your desired doe's ability to breed again for that month, has one usage.
(This item can be used at any time.)

Instant Birth Potion: 100 C$ (or $2.50)
Stock: 2/2 (restocks bi-monthly)
Instantly births your babies (ignoring the gestation period).
(I make the babies a top priority, sooner than the 2-week mark.)
((If I take longer than 3 total days (72 hours) to complete it, you'll be refunded and the babies will still arrive sooner.))

Twins Potion: 100 C$ (or $2.50)
Stock: 2/2 (restocks bi-monthly)
Guarantees twins on your next breeding.
(This item must be used at the time of breeding.)

Buck Seed: 100 C$ (or $2.50)
Stock: 3/3 (restocks monthly)
Guarantees one male fawn (in the event that there are twins, only one baby will be guaranteed male).

Star Seed: 100 C$ (or $2.50)
Stock: 2/2 (restocks bi-monthly)
This item allows two bucks to breed one (1) time.
(This item must be used at the time of breeding.)

Moon Seed: 100 C$ (or $2.50)
Stock: 2/2 (restocks bi-monthly)
This item allows two does to breed one (1) time.
(This item must be used at the time of breeding.)
((Both does will then have a breeding cooldown, instead of just one.))

PPS Potion: 100 C$ (or $2.50)
Stock: 3/3 (restocks monthly)
This will turn a newborn fawn PPS. It cannot be undone.
(This item must be used before a fawn ages into an adult.)

Wish Potion: 30 C$ (or $1.50)
Stock: infinite
Guarantees ONE trait of your choice to pass onto one offspring from either parent.
(One in total, not one from each parent.)

Silver Wish Potion: 100 C$ (or $2.50)
Stock: 3/3 (restocks monthly)
Guarantees ONE trait of your choice from any rarity up to rare for all offspring.
(This can be a trait that neither parent has.)

Golden Wish Potion: 200 C$ (or $4.50)
Stock: 1/1 (restocks bi-monthly)
Guarantees ONE trait of your choice from any rarity up to very rare for all offspring.
(This can be a trait that neither parent has.)
(This does not count for full-body edits)

Anti-Wish Potion: 30 C$ (or $1.50)
Stock: infinite
Guarantees that ONE trait from either parent will not pass down onto the offspring.
(One in total, not one from each parent - unless both parents have the undesired trait.)

Q & A

Q: How can I get a Snooty Deer?

A: There's a few ways you can get yourself a Snoot!
1) Adopt, either by trying for the free ones, buying the ones up for flat-sale or winning an auction!
2) Having someone else who already owns one sell, gift or trade you any extra or unwanted Snoots. (Free Snoots cannot be traded or sold)
3) Purchasing and using a Custom Token!
4) Sometimes I hold events where you may have the opportunity to get a free Snoot!

Q: I have a Snooty Deer from the old species that were around, can I use them here?

A: As stated in the main post, all older Snoots are obsolete. If you want to use them here, you'll need to have their designs transferred onto the new lines. If you'd like to transfer them, see "Something Old, Something New" for info on how to do this.

Q: What happens if we decide we don't want our Snooty Deer anymore?

A: If you don't want them anymore, that's fine! You can sell or trade them to another member, but you cannot sell them for real cash. Snoots you got for free cannot be traded or sold, but they may be gifted. If you decide to sell/trade/gift them away, please contact me or use the proper form here. I need to be informed when ownership changes!

Q: What is a PPS? Why do I see a PPS Snooty Deer?

A: PPS stands for Peter Pan Syndrome. Just like the CS PPS pets, these Snoots won't grow-- they'll stay babies forever! That also means they can't breed, however, and once they are a PPS it can't be undone. So choose wisely if you decide to purchase and/or use a PPS Potion.

Q: Why are your USD prices all over the place?

A: Because I don't have a C$ to USD conversion and I value some things more than others (ie; how much time it would take me to complete).

Breedable Bucks

If you'd like to advertise your buck, please fill out the appropriate form and he'll be added!
Buck prices vary per player (the owner of the buck can set any price (as long as it isn't real cash)), but keep in mind that it's only worth as much as someone is willing pay! Trades are also acceptable as payment if the owner of the buck wishes to do things that way.

You can only advertise ONE buck at a time.
