Let's pretend that perspective is the reason why the snout is so short... unless a unique factor is that its short XD

Anyway, design and color-wise, I read somewhere that grey is often associated with anxiety and I added a light-ish indigo as a pop of color... I think I've accidentally pulled the result in more of a direction of depression than anxiety, but hey, in most cases, the two end up going hand in hand.

Thank you! I was going to put the purple on both antlers, but then I remembered that this antelope is supposed to represent anxiety in some form and, for some people, asymmetry brings about a feeling of anxiety or at least discomfort, so I put it on one side ^^

For this contest though, the focus was for anxiety, and as you say, this is more of a depression kind of character.
Anxiety and Depression don't go hand in hand for everyone and depression doesn't overshadow anxiety for everyone when it does.
For me, anxiety is present almost every moment of my day, while depression for me is more rare, short lived, and more easily remedied.

I mean, as someone with somewhat severe anxiety who also doesn't have a whole lot of depressive thoughts if at all, yea this looks more on the depressive side, but I wouldn't say it doesn't have features of anxiety at all. The teardrop markings were more what I was talking about for the depressive side. Otherwise, the rest of the design could represent the dark place that one can end up in if they start spiraling.
That being said though, I understand what you're saying. I think I'll try another design idea on the same lines because the lines took me the most time and they are supposed to look like they're about to run away, it just didn't look like that when I added the dark colors on top.
