Orianne is a very skittish kalon who is very anxious and seems to have pretty ever-changing luck. Luck is something she often compares to flipping a coin, being either extremely good or extremely awful depending on nothing but chance. She also has trouble with words, often tripping over them or jumbling them up unless she's writing. Orianne is a fiction writer and local librarian, well known for her kindness and helping people get their paws on books that they want to read. Since the library runs mostly off fund raisers and donations, Orianne makes her money via another hobby of hers, which is working in a tattoo shop as one of the artists.
