Found Abndoned beside a barn
A little girl that lives on the farm
Picks up the poor creature and gives it a hug
She crys because her father disappeared to become a thug
The little girl names the kitten
But her father returns and throws mittens
Then the father finds a knife
The little girl saves the kitten's life
Sadly the girl is gone and the kitten is lost
The kitten is alone and is among the moss
The kitten is left alone
The kitten shall always groan
For that night that he witnesses death
Will never be left alone

(The father did human cruelty and animal. Should he have stopped? I think so.)
