This is just a fun personal project so don't expect anything too in-depth as I already have a main closed species to focus on before this one!

Alkines are a large domesticated cervid(deer) that are bred and assist in transportation through arctic conditions.
What makes these deer very notable is their large size, long tail, elk-like necks, and ram-like antlers!
Tamed alkines are extremely friendly and gentle, their intelligence comparable to the average working dog.
Due to this demeanor, they are not suitable for battle and are rarely compatible alongside hunting runs.
Some individuals will actually own an alkine solely as a companion, comparing the deer to simply being dogs in a deer body.
Genetics are closely guarded and any bull alkines are privately owned by breeders. Similar to reindeer though, both bulls and cows
have antlers. Occasionally, non-viable males may be released with feral populations to fulfill natural behaviors for the cows.

Do not claim the adopts as your own.
Do not harass staff/artists.
No co-owning is allowed
Do not make your own Alkine without permission
You can gift, trade, and resell Alkines
Do not stray outside of written lore without permission.
