[Ɽotten Ⱡegacy]

I've been dying to make a second ask meme lately, focused on only one story, so here it is!
(Edited 1/30/2021 to add Ethan + improve the artwork)

So from left to right...

Every town is bound to have a couple of weirdos, and Pinehollow is no exception. Avalyn Mays is a cold and haughty woman who spends most of her time in the woods surrounding the town, collecting animal bones and anything else she deems interesting. She hates everyone, but secretly loves being the center of attention. ("snobby rich person" energy, even though she's not rich)

Crinn is Pinehollow's local cryptid who just really needs a hug. They don't want the town to see them as a bloodthirsty monster, because it couldn't be further from the truth. They have been trying to gain the town's trust through various acts of kindness, but no one seems to know that Crinn is behind it all.. yet. (pure babey, gentle and compassionate)

Mason Campbell has always been passionate about sticking up for those who can't defend themselves. She isn't particularly strong--not physically, and certainly not with words--but she's determined to try anyway. She also has a tendency to act before thinking.. not a great combination. (i love this fabulous idiot so much)

Most people in town know Jay Riviere as "the crazy conspiracy theorist". While they have never said this outright, the way they act leads many people to believe that they're being hunted by someone--or at least, they've somehow convinced themself of that. They're extremely jumpy, paranoid, and distrustful. (also sleep deprived. very, very sleep deprived)

Ethan Hernell is a photographer who loves making people laugh. He doesn't often initiate conversations with people he isn't familiar with, but is super affectionate with those he knows; he has a close relationship with most of his family, and helps out at his parents' restaurant when he has the time. (also, he and jay are dating <33)

There are a couple of characters in Pinehollow's story who I didn't add solely because there wasn't enough room on the canvas; you can find them (as well as more information about the characters I did add) here if you're interested! You can ask any of those characters a question as well, I'll answer it here ^^

Feel free to ask as many questions as you want, as long as they're within CS rules, and make sure to specify who your question is directed at! The answers should be about the same quality as this.

The story isn't finished yet, but I am working on getting the plotline developed! Probably my biggest hurdle right now is not actually knowing which medium I want to present it in :')) You can see more detailed profiles for these characters here, though be warned, they're all rather lengthy!
I'm glad you like them though!! I'll get to work on answering the question right away ^^
