The competition rules state the contest owner has to provide a background/lineart/sketch.
Therefore you have to use their background/lineart/sketch, otherwise you have an unfair advantage.

I asked if I could make my own because the tree was way smaller than the fox and maddie said yes, so sorry if its an unfair advantage in your mind because the contest is for who can draw Spirit not the best background.

I know, but then that's the contest owners fault for allowing you to do that. You must use the things provided.. otherwise it's just like they're not giving you anything to work from.

No i understand what your saying but what i am saying is that the background is just an accent and when I was drawing with the original one it still looked the same, maybe a little larger fox maybe but nonetheless same so i am really sorry again.

ok what i was saying is that the picture looked the same with the original background but the anatomy was wrong because the fox was larger than the tree so I asked if I could change the background to fix that, understand?
