Gem Does are a species of deer mainly found in caves and underground tunnels. It's not uncommon to find one hiding in an old coal mine as well! Lately, the Gem Doe sanctuary has been overrun with discarded and abandoned does, why not take one home while you're here?

Lore

Gem Does may be common, but that doesn't mean that we know where they're from. Early reports of these creatures date as far back as 1435, but there are signs that this species is much, much older than that. We believe that their early ancestors may have had roots in early Greece, but Spain is also in question. History isn't fun though, so let's explain the lore that these creatures tell:

Genes & Traits

The Gem Doe is a very unique creature, as it has a large variety of colours and markings, come check out our genetics chart!


White markings:


duo
named after the fact that it mixes two colours together, this marking will make your GM look like they fell in a bucket of paint! Does with this marking will have two colours meeting at the middle, and may make features appear to be both of the mixed colours at once.
