Hey there, welcome to Fair Run! We're still working on getting things setup, but please feel free to post. And if you have any questions or have ideas for ways to improve our adoption center do let us know!

[Base Lines By The Wonderful Sixbane | Fair Run Rabbits Owned By ShadyBro Since 2015]

Fair Run is a simple rabbit adopt based around caring for Fairens, a special rabbit breed unique to our adoption center that possesses a variety of colorations and characteristics seen in numerous real rabbit breeds. You might remember this adopt from our old lines a few years back - and we are here yet again for some more bunny fun! To adopt, all you need is a love for buns and a simple rabbitry page to keep track of everyone. Opportunities for roleplay, story advancement, training, breeding, events, added perks, and more may be available to invested players, but will not be required in order for more casual adopters to be a part of the community. Play how you like and enjoy some bun art! <3

. Other names for the breed include Coloradan Fairens, Faes, and Fairyfoots
. The most common varieties include standard, lop eared, and maned
. They can be seen in any normal rabbit coloration, while their eyes can be any color imaginable
. They average at around 20-30lbs in weight, and are about 3-4ft long nose to tail (thats a BIG bun!)
. Though known for very calm and laid-back personalities, they are all unique and expressive
. They are highly intelligent and emotionally sensitive, making them easy to train and bond to humans with a little bit of TLC
. Like all rabbits they are easily litter trained and should live free range inside your home (NO CAGES/HUTCHES)
. Their main diet is similar to most rabbits, however they should not be fed pellets due to easy weight gain
. They are built to handle cold weather easily, but cannot manage well in heat
. Despite their size they are very agile and make great agility rabbits
. They are known for socializing and bonding to other species with ease, but still do best in pairs or groups
. Unlike other rabbits, Fairens require regular bathes and lots of intense grooming to keep their plush undercoats clean
. They are great with harness/leash training as a safe and acceptable way to get them time outside
. If they bond strong enough to their humans, they can be fierce protectors and loyal friends
. Though most rabbits don't vocalize much, Fairens tend to be louder with an array of grunts, honks, purrs, and chatters
. It is outlawed for Fairens to be used for butchering, animal feeders, commercial fur sales, backyard/mill breeding, public exploit shows, or anything else that objectifies these sweet and intelligent creatures

Customs are Currently: OPEN! (Only tier 1 & 2 are available at this time.)
Would you like your very own custom Fairen? We can do that! To order a custom just fill out the form below and send it in a message to ShadyBro. You must have a rabbitry listed in our directory to be allowed to place an order. The pricing is as follows;
Tier 1 - 20C$
[No edits, Standard lineset, simplistic design; common.]
Tier 2 - 45C$
[Minor detail edits, Standard/lop/maned lineset, average design; uncommon.]
Tier 3 - 80C$
[Large line edits, rare lineset varieties, complex design; rare.]
Tier 4 - 150C$

Training your faes is quite easy and helps build up their stats for future events. Trained rabbits are more likely to win contests/shows if fixed, and training unaltered rabbits allows them to produce larger/rarer litters. Seasoned trainers who put time and effort into training their rabbitry are even eligible for surprise rewards such as free rare customs!
So how do you train your fairen?

Step 1: Answer a training prompt from the list below. It can be any prompt you like (you don't have to go in order). This can be done through writing (100 word minimum, no max) or art (all art must be fully colored, but sketches/headshots/ect are fine for the lines). You only need to complete one prompt to get your basic 'Trained' badge. If desired however, you can continue to raise your bunnies training stats by completing more of the prompts! For each prompt you complete your bun will gain +1 training points which will be added to their main page. For every 2 training points earned after the initial completed prompt your bun will move up one level (so first training prompt + two additional prompts = level two). The cap for earning points with training prompts is 10 training points, however special bonus points can be added on during special events or with special reward items, allowing you to level your bun even further!
Here is the Training Prompt Selections. Pick a prompt from this list. New prompts will be added over time.

. Meeting Your Bunny (Explain how the meeting went, first impressions, noted behaviors that need work, the bond, ect. Feel free to be creative with this one.)
. Teaching Them Their Name (Everybunny needs to know their name - especially a hyper intelligent creature like this. Explain how you taught your new friend their name.)
. Litterbox Training (House etiquette is important. Just like teaching a dog or cat, you're going to need to potty train your bun friend. Feel free to be creative with this one - ask yourself things like, what other house rules do you have? or How is the house bunny-proofed for your new friend? Have fun with it!)
. Harness/Leash Training (Safety first! Any bun going into the outdoors will need to learn and get used to wearing a safety harness and leash. How are they doing with this idea?)
. Obedience & Recall Training (Time to have fun with some useful tricks! Recall is very important, and shows your bun really trusts you. Maybe there are some other cute tricks in the works as well?)
. Bonding To Other Rabbits (All rabbits need another bunny friend to truly be happy - but bonding can be hard at first! How did your bun react to meeting their new housemate?)
. Toy Training (It's important for any house pet to learn what to chew and what not to chew. What kind of toys does your bun like? Do they help keep them from being a destructive force in the home?)
. Agility Training (Fairens tend to make great agility rabbits, and it is a wonderful way to get out some of that energy in a constructive way. How did your bun do their first time on the course?)
. Grooming Time (Unlike most rabbits, Faes require regular bathing along with the usual brushing and nail trims. How does your bun handle grooming time?)
. Meet Someone New (Being such social critters, it is important to get your bun used to meeting strangers. This could be other pets, family members, or just random folk out at the park! How did your bun react to meeting them?)

Step 2: Message the artist who designed your bun your completed training prompt so that they can update your rabbit's adoption page. Do the same for any bonus prompts as well. If you're COPPA or otherwise don't feel comfortable sending PMs, you can post your prompt either directly on your rabbit's adoption page, or you can post it on your rabbitry page and post a link to the training prompt on your rabbit's adoption page.

And that's it! Super duper easy. Please feel free to send me a message or post on the main page if you have any questions or concerns!

-Work In Progress!-

. Only breeding artists a part of Fair Run are able to breed Fairens - you may not breed them yourself in any way
. To submit a breeding request, please refer to our breeding page linked here
. All created rabbits are breedable unless the owner decides to spay/neuter
. Fixed rabbits cannot breed, but are eligible for all training/showing/story progressions/roleplay/rewarded events/contests/ect later on
. Unaltered rabbits can breed, but are not eligible for showing/story progressions/roleplay/rewarded events/contests/ect until they are fixed
. To alter a rabbit, simply message the artist to have their form updated (altering is not reversible, but can be done at any time, even after having bred the rabbit)
. Trained fairens are more likely to have larger/rarer litters than untrained fairens, and even have the chance to roll for bonus kits (meaning litters can be larger than four)
. While Fairens can be any gender, only DMAB (buck) and DFAB (doe) pairings are breedable (all genders can be in mated pairs or other relationships)
. Litter size ranges from one to four kits, though rabbits who have been bred more than once are more likely to have smaller litters
. Fairens can be bred twice per month and have ten total breeding slots (it is recommended to alter your rabbit if they have used all ten slots)
. Kits will be considered grown (breedable/showable/eventable/fixable/ect) fourteen days from their creation date
. Realistic rabbits genetics will be utilized by the breeding artist to the best of their ability, however all Fairens carry randomized hidden genetic modifiers that may drastically change the outcome in order to help artists create more unique offspring
