What are Chaveons?

Chaveons are a big cat species native to a two-mooned planet named Volucria. Defining features are their horns, pincers, and tail appendages. Traits vary over several subspecies spanning two different continents. They are predatory carnivores being both proficient in hunting and opportunistic scavengers. Habitats range from savanna, forests, deserts, tropics, and a small fragment of tundra. Chaveon subspecies differ from each biome.

Chaveons live amongst each other in prides. They are very social and depend on group structures to live. There is no Alpha amongst the pride, but are generally more family structured, older breeding Chaveons providing leadership roles. They hunt, eat, and sleep together. Cubs are raised together and taught vital skills alongside each other and eventually either stay with the group or splinter off into other prides. Loners are especially rare.

Chaveons have a devout belief system with three main gods and several smaller divine entities. The gods (also known as The Three) Vynnsh, Lycros, and Evor are thought to be the origin of the species, sacrificing themselves to become the sun and moons to sustain new life. Lesser gods were granted divinity from The Three and risen from mortality as proof of their grand acts for the species. Gods are very present among prides and will show themselves to those they deem worthy. They also often interact with mortal Chaveons without their knowledge, presenting themselves as mortals and doing what they wish sometimes only for their own amusement.

-Do not repostor create knock off/spin-off species.
-Be respectful. Do not harass others.
-All CS rules apply.
-Please give proper credit to artists.
-Failure to follow rules can and will result in a ban.
-Rules may be subject to change as I see fit.
-I reserve the right to take and rehome a Chaveon if you do not follow the rules.
-I reserve the right to also hand out bans if you do not follow the rules that can result in your Chaveon being taken away.
-You may not use access to the Oekaki image as a way to create your own Chaveons.
-This is not an ARPG. You are not required to keep up activities to keep your Chaveon!
-You may use Chaveons outside CS as long as rules are followed!
-Chaveons may not be co-owned.

-You may own unlimited Chaveons.
-Do not alter or change designs w/o permission to do so.
-All designs must be approved.
-Please follow Chaveons traits and guidelines.
-You may trade/gift Chaveons but you may NOT sell them.
-Taking a Chaveon that is not your own will result in a ban.
-If you buy a Chaveon design you may not change its species.
-As of right now there are no breeding options to create new Chaveons.
