Faerhunds are a large canine-like species, with elf-like ears
and feathered tails. They possess limited magical abilities.

[ fae - er - hund ] Most Faerhunds stand at around 120-150cm tall. They are omnivorous with diets consisting of whatever is plentiful in their environment, as they can adapt to almost anywhere. Faerhunds have been spotted across all continents, in a variety of habitats. The two beads on their tail have no confirmed meaning, though it is assumed they are linked to their fae-like abilities. Faerhunds of all genders and sexualities can exist. <----- tldr; big fluffy elf dogs

Non rarity:
removable accessories (must be on a separate layer), expression, weight edit, scars, tattoos

Standard:
no edits, white sclera

Common:
hair length edit, hair, coloured sclera, heterochromia, piebald, brow shape, non-standard teeth

Uncommon:
extended/short tail, 2+ big feathers, snout edit, missing limbs, 2+ beads, horns/antlers (max one pair), pupil edit, tongue edit, antenna, claw length

Rare:
ear shape change, no beads (no powers), munchkinism, 3+ horns/antlers, spines, backmane, fur tail (must retain minimum 1 big feather), only 1 big feather, bead shape, bone exposure, glowing markings (NOT eyes or whole faerhund), no pupil

Legendary:
glowing eyes, extra eyes, wings, multiple heads, extra limbs

1. Do not be rude/cause issues. You may receive a strike.
   How many/if you receive a strike depends on the severity of your action.
   You may be straight up banned depending on what you did.
   
2. Faerhunds are for fun. I'm not claiming the idea of a dog with long ears and a feather tail. Yes, creating a species that has elf ears, a feathered tail, magic beads and the same big hair tufts is odd, but I do not own this idea. Make whatever characters you want, as long as you aren't claiming they're part of the species or stealing the lineart.
3. Faerhunds belonging to banned members may be kept, but you may not sell/trade them. If you no longer want your Faerhund you must return them to the species to be put up for official re-adoption (including any bonus art/writings). < The no selling/trading rule only applies to banned members.
4. Do not mini mod. Mods will handle any issues. Notify mods if you see any problems.
5. Do not steal/copy/trace any species assets or artwork.
6. Do not steal designs.
7. Credit this thread + the designer when you store your Faerhund offsite (eg TH, DA).
8. You must notify the archivist (emubugg) when trading away your Faerhund (for archive purposes).
9. Faerhund's cannot be re-sold for more than they were bought for + their art worth.
10. Faerhunds cannot be sold for real-world currency under any circumstances.
11. At this time, Faerhunds cannot be transferred out-of-species.
