Welcome to MoonRocks !

Moonrocks is a closed species based off the concept of testing the variation in designs within a species. Each Moonrock should have their own individual design which sets them apart from the rest of their species with their own silhouette, combination of traits, shapes and sizes. They are most comparable to dogs due to the extreme variation within the canine species which allows for each dog breed to be recognized as their own and coming in all shapes and sizes. Different breeds of Moonrocks will be released periodically. Due to our main theme of variation there is no set in place lines for moonrocks.

Rules...

- All cs rules apply, including within the discord.
- Art theft of any kind will not be tolerated and will result in a ban.
- Moonrocks may be traded within the community for other Moonrocks and myo slots but cannot be resold for profit.
- All Moonrocks must be approved by Chimingcloud before becoming official, moderators and admins will be able to approve designs once we get a hang of things.
- You may own up to 5 Moonrocks upon start, Levels which will allow you to own more will be implemented soon.
- Due to lacking official lines, The trait guide is extremely important in creating consistent species traits and should be looked to upon creation of any MoonRock. This applies to artists too.

Moonrocks are canine like creatures from outer space with a knack for consuming moon-rocks, stardust and astral objects to help clean up space with their untamable appetites and black hole of a tummy! Never becoming full, a special species which protects space and our planets from unknown harm and threats. Living in secrecy from humans and other life forms on earth, Yet they have evolved to be able to live in harmony with humans and animals on earth. They are rumored to made from stars, harnessing the energy of space itself within a being.

Standard species traits...

✦ Come in all sizes !! even as big as planets themselves, some suspect special deity Moonrocks are universes themselves. Yet their most common size is standing 2 ft tall while on all 4 legs.
✦ Four Legged mammals with soft guard hair which repel water.
✦ Round faces with short snouts !!
✦ Rounded ears comparable to a Lion’s.
✦ Naturally grow soft hair on their heads but can come in any length !! As Moonrocks discover human culture, some have even participated in the practice of grooming.
✦ Traditionally come in vibrant unnatural colors, natural colors can be seen in Moonrocks with Rare traits.
✦ Round feline like paws
✦ Body parts can be any dimensions (ex: a moonrock can have giant paws with thin legs and a large neck)
✦ Can come in any shape !! experiment ! have fun ! Each moonrock should be special and unique !

Rarity guide...

Non-rarity traits-

Any length Hair, Round head, cub-like ears, a size between 2 ft to 5 ft tall while on all 4 legs, accessories, markings, shaped eyebrows, prosthetics, short tails (shorter than 1 ft), unnatural colored base colors.

Common traits -

Rings, Claws, stars (not markings), sparkly markings, ear edits, ear tufts, tongue edits, long tail (longer than 1 ft), teeth edits, Backmane

Uncommon traits -

Halos, no hair on head, black holes in body, meteors/stars in body, gaseous body parts, natural colored base colors.

Rare traits -

star trail tail (such as comets, shooting stars, etc.), elemental growths, horns, baldness, glowing, extra eyes/mouths, Naturally grown Metal body parts.

Mythical traits -

Orbital rings, wings, extra limbs, sun rays

Coming soon traits - not available yet as they will be released alongside a breed
Fish tails, mermaid tails, food body parts, bug traits such as (antennas, 6 legs, bug like wings, bug eyes) Goop, jello texture.

Getting started !

Moonrocks is ARPG based on developing your characters to set them apart from the rest and create a unique world building experience, the more developed your moonrock becomes through prompts, missions and space travel. The more rewards you gain !

Staff Rules
- All staff members must contribute to breed concepts as they are a collaborative effort from the team.
- Each artist must create 3 adopts each month minimum in order to receive payment.
- Each artist must open their nursery slots once a month in order to receive payment.
- Guest artists must create 4 customs within their first month to be considered for the full time position.
- Guest artists can create a nursery breeding during their time here!
- All adopts should be approved by me within the sketch process and upon finalization due to Moonrocks not having set in stone lines, this makes traits and consistency a more fragile idea and making the approval process more important. As we progress moderators will be allowed to approve and some artists will not require approval.
- Hiatuses are always allowed, our staff's mental health comes first but please be cautious with how often you are taking hiatuses.
- special traits/breeds should be conferred with species owner before becoming official.
