Sub-Species
1. Air Borne - Can only be obtained at dusk or dawn at the mountain tips.
These Qeadins have a second set of wings and a feathered tail tip to help them easily weave through clouds and easily ride wind thermals. These Qeadins only come down from their sky to rest for the night in the mountain caves. They eat any bird that happens to be high enough.
2. Earth Borne - Can be obtained at any time of day, any time of year.
These Qeadins have an extra set of horns that look like antlers, a leafy tail tip, and spines on it's back, no one really knows the reason they developed these traits, some argue that it was for camouflage. They eat large forest or field animals and have a particular liking for deer.
3. Water Borne - Can only be obtained if you have proper gear (flippers, submarines are sometimes necessary)
These Qeadins have a fin on their back, gills, fins on their feet, and a tail fin. These are for adaptive and skilled swimming. These Qeadins never come on land as they would suffocate if they did. They eat large fish or sea mammals. Some say that freshwater and saltwater Qeadins are different species completely.
4. Fire Borne - Can only be obtained during mating season (Later winter - Early summer)
These Qeadins Have flames running down their backs and on the tip of their tail which contain concentrated heat to keep the Qeadin warm while away from its volcano. They only leave the volcano to hunt or for mating season. They must not be away from their volcano for more than 24 hours or else they will freeze. They will eat anything close enough to their volcano.
