Feral is a character development based adoptable, inspired by the series 'Warriors' by Erin Hunter. Artists will create adopts for you to answer prompts to win. You develop your cat and where they live to level up and grow your clan. If you have any questions, please see Q&A or contact myself or another staff member please.

Rules
• Accounts must be 3 months old before being allowed to join Feral
• Remain respectful to other Feral members

• You can not change the design of any cats
• Credit to the design must be given
• Designs can not be changed after being posted

• Do not claim cats that are not yours
......>if a custom, and the artist had forgotten something, you can kindly remind them
• Only cats obtained in Feral may be used in your clan/group
• Founder forms can only be used once per user
• Rules can be added at any time as the staff sees fit

Staff Rules
• Designs must be realistic (natural eye colors, fur colors/patterns)
• All designs must be on oekaki
• Must make a minimum of 3 designs within their first month
• Rare designs can not be used without talking to the rest of the staff first
• Provide a “Warriors Alliance” description with every cat. Technical terms are not required, and are optional.
• Remain active within the community

• Can accept founders, open customs, open breeding's, or make standard adopts.
• Can obtain a free custom upon hiring.
• Can make a custom for themselves on their birthday. Please contact CloudDraws16 first.

• Can accept payment for customs

• Guest artists can only make a custom for themselves upon hiring, and adopts until the end of their term. Breeding's, customs, and founders can not be done by a guest artist.

To level up, you must complete the tasks for the level ahead of you. Once these tasks are completed, you can post in the archive and fill out the form. This will increase the amount of cats your clan can hold.

Level 1 (1 cat)
• Obtain a founder
• Write your clan’s description (150+ words)
• Write your founders history/personality (200+ words)

Level 2 (3 cats)
• Write/draw your clans prey and/or predators (200+ words/cleanly lined and colored piece(s))
• Describe the relationship(s) between your cats (100+ words)
• Create/write/draw a map of your clan's territory

Level 3 (5 cats)
• What do other clans think of yours? (200+ words)
• Write the history/personality of two cats (or both for one cat) (200+ words)
• Describe a common goal among your cats (150+ words)

Level 4 (7 cats)
• Write/draw your oldest cat meeting the youngest cat for the first time (250+ words/1 cleanly lined piece w/ a simple background)
• What is a common challenge among the cats of your clan? (200+ words)
• Draw your cat's biggest fear

Level 5 (10 cats)
• Choose 3 words to describe the strength's and weakness's for EVERY cat you own
• How does one of your cat's feel about love? (200+ words)
• Have any of the cats in your group suffered an emotional/physical trauma? Who, and what, happened? (150+ words) (OPTIONAL)

Level 6 (15 cats)
• What is your leader's favorite way to spend their free time? (50+ words)
• Write a personality/history for 3 of your cats (200+ words EACH)
• Create a family tree for all of the cats in your group, or one big one for all.

Level 7 (20 cats)
• Write about how two cats view each other (100+ words)
• How did your clan come to be? (200+ words)
• Draw a scene between a cat from your clan and another's

Level 8 (25 cats)
• Draw one of your cats in their most frequent emotion
• What is your oldest cats biggest struggle? (100+ words)
• Describe a clan tradition (50+ words)

Level 9 (30 cats)
• Write/draw a scene of your choice
• Describe a shared belief among your cats (100+ cats)
• Draw a meeting among your leader, deputy, and medicine cat(s)

Level 10 (40 cats)
• What is your clans greatest asset?
• Draw/write about a cat receiving a prophecy (150+ words, cleanly lined and colored scene. Simple background)
• Draw/write about a clan meeting

Level 11+ (+5 cats)
For every level after 10, you can choose to redo another prompt above, or create your own! 3 prompts required. Please keep it CS appropriate. Each level gets you 5 more cats.

Getting Started

1) Get a founder
Please make sure an artist is open before posting!!
You can obtain a founder two ways: Adopting one, or filling out the form below for a free custom. Founder forms can not be posted incomplete, and can only be used once. Incomplete forms will count as used and will not be accepted. Rare traits, large scars, and any uncommon edits (except for heterochromia) are not allowed. Small/medium scars are fine.

2) Create a clan thread
A clan thread can be anything from one here on CS, another website, or your own website. Regardless of where you will store your cats and all of your clan information, it has to stay CS appropriate. You can set up your thread/website however is easiest to you.

3) Level up!
Leveling up is where the real fun begins. You start off at 'level 0', and have to level up to hold more cats in your clan. The more levels you are, the more cats you can hold. The more tasks you complete, the more levels you are! See? After leveling up, you post in the archives to make it official.

You will have 2 weeks (14 days) to complete all 3 steps after your founder is posted until your founder is taken away from you. After this, you can not receive another free one, and will have to adopt another cat to reach level 1. This does not apply if you decided to adopt a founder instead of getting a free one.

Customs
Each month, you have the chance of getting a custom cat. Artists post whenever they are open and what they consider ‘standard, simple, challenging, or complex’. To order a custom, fill out the form below.

• You only get one custom every month.
• Artists do not have to accept every custom order
• Orders must be done by the end of the month
• Do not post another form for another artist until the first artist has posted which forms they will be taking

• Only 5 orders may be taken at a time per artist

Standard - 30C$ / 150 points
Simple - 40C$ / 200 points
Complex - 50C$ / 250 points
Challenging - 60C$ / 300 points

Transfers
To be able to transfer a cat, you must have owned them for at least 2 months prior. Cat trades should not be posted on the main thread, and instead [url=link]here[/url]. That thread is to find people who are offering cats. You would contact them with your trade offer in a pm/dm.

Cats can also be gifted. To be able to gift, the cat being gifted also has to have been in your possession for 2 months.

Any cats being traded/gifted will have to be posted in the archive by filling out the form.
Only one of the people trading/gifting will have to post. Both will have to post on both cat's pages.

Kits are the exception to this. They can be gifted immediately after they are posted (not traded).
Afterwards, they will also have to follow the 2-month rule.

Q&A
Can my ‘clan’ be a tribe?
Yep! Your clan/tribe/group can be set up however you like.

What happens if I go over my clan limit?
If you mistakenly go over, it’s fine. If this happens multiple times, however, you can get a strike. Please level up within a week of noticing you’ve gone over if possible

Can I adopt a cat and claim a founder?
No. Founder tickets are only valid as your first cat. If you wish to adopt a founder instead, you can of course do that instead. After obtaining your founder and leveling up you can try out for more cats.

Can I trade my Feral cats for characters out of Feral?
Of course! However, the new owner, if out of the species, can not obtain the original ref. You will have to make a new reference for the character. The character you obtained will not be in Feral

Can I have gay/lesbian/bi/pan/etc. cats? And can they breed?
Feral is entirely welcoming to any sexuality! Cats do not have to be male and female couples to breed.

What do I do if I want to transfer cats out of Feral?
Please make sure the artist of the cat is completely ok with you transferring beforehand. After this, you will have to inform CloudDraws16 or an archivist to mark that cat as deceased within Feral. You may not use the original reference afterwards.

Can I add items to my cats?
Items can not be added to a Feral cat without an item ticket. When submitting one, please inform the artist. Some artists may be ok with adding it to the ref, while others may not.
