welcome! it seems you’ve stumbled across our geodome! in case you couldn’t tell, we raise snappies here. would you like to take a tour? I can show you around!

what is a snappy? (pl. snappies)

snappies are about the size of a large dog breed (ex golden retriever). they are especially known for their “snappy” mouth. their jaws are very strong and can easily break through bones. while not aggressive, snappies may attack when threatened. all snappies have a poisonous spit that can be transferred from even the smallest context from their tongue or mouth unless one is especially equipped with the right gear/the snappy can controls themselves. it is also not too uncommon to see snappies with poisonous paw pads. these poisonous things can be anything from rat poison to government classified liquids. all snappies also have a tail filled with things, ranging from more of the poisonous liquid, to beads, plushies or food.

snappies can be safe and playful pets when properly trained. we are working on domesticating these creatures so that they may enjoy lives in the actual world.

diet

snappies are known omnivores eating things such as fruits and fish, though it has been observed that some may have a preference to certain lifestyles that occur in humans, such as being a vegetarian. whether this is natural or is a game of “monkey see monkey do”, we do not know, but we are working on looking further into this.

unusual: custom tongue; glow; teeth
rare: extra eyes (up to six); goopy poison tail/pads/tongue; extra limbs (up to six total); double tails; double ear set; horns on head (up to four); halos (up to six); munchkinism/reverse munchkinism; feather growth; poison blood; horns/spikes on the body
legendary: wings (up to two pairs; includes head wings); gem growth; extra heads (up to three heads total); exposed bone; smoky body parts; gene splicing; eyes on the body (up to four); no tail; transparency; elemental aspects (fire, earth, wind, water)
special: tater tot mutation; plush mutation



a little note for everyone:
snappies are just meant to be a fun, chill species for me to enjoy. These were previously my closed, private species, and if things get out of hand, I will not hesitate to turn these back. thanks!

rules

• snappies are a closed species. please do not create your own.
• do not steal the snappy species nor any snappies owned by other users.
• whining and/or begging is not allowed.
• do not attempt to blackmail or bribe an artist into anything.
• stay respectful towards all staff and users.
• you may not sell your snappy for any real life currency unless purchased with real life currency. in that case, they cannot be sold for more than they were obtained for unless they have art pieces that cost you money.
• snappies can be traded/gifted freely.
• one may not edit their snappy without an edit ticket / original artist approval
• all adopts will most likely be ota (offer you adopt) or raffle, as those are easier for me.
• custom lined for snappies are a special trait specifically for staff only (for adopts/customs/etc.). all custom lined snappies require a transfer to these lines.
• snappies may only be transferred out of the species with the original designers approval, as well as my ok. all traits that make a snappy a snappy must be changed/removed.
• all snappies must have a “snap” mouth, toxic spit and something in their tails

quick update:
I finished the background but I’m not too happy with it so I’ll be tweaking it here and there! Unfortunately I’m being forced to go to my volleyball practice (thank you mom 😡) so the myo event will happen tomorrow.
