Getting started:
So you've decided to join! There's a few things to know about claiming a founder first:
RULES FOR FOUNDERS:
-You may only claim ONE free founder. You will not be allowed another if it is readopted due to not meeting the one month requirement, or for any reason in which it is no longer in your possession
-You may not request specific breeds, mutations, disabilities, or major lineart changes (missing limbs, vitiligo, items, major scars)
-THIS INCLUDES GENETICALLY MALE TORTOISESHELLS OR CALICOS!
-You may, however, request a small lineart modification (such as tufted ears or a small overbite for example), and small scars. You must choose the modification carefully- you may only get one (Unless you get the proper item for another one), and it cannot be changed later.
-Designs must be mostly realistic! look up photos of cats if you must, but pelts will not have stars and hearts or bright neon green fur!
-Eyes should be somewhat-realistic (Aqua colored eyes and Dark blue/borderline indigo eyes would be ok, but bright pink would not be ok)
-White markings should at least look natural though does not have to be completely realistic, and should not imitate mutations (such as vitiligo or the topaz mutation)

Levels and leveling up:
levels will be created and posted in the upcoming days as the archive is created.
To level, the prompt requirements must be met. NPCs, Deceased, and other players' cats may be used (with permission), but your own living cats must be the focus. After you have completed the given tasks, be sure to post to the archive! c:
You won't have to wait to start leveling up more, but if the response doesn't fit the prompt somehow, or meet a requirement, I'll message you and let you know.
There will be no set limit or requirements for high ranks.
Writing, if not explicitly stated, must be 100+ words, and drawings must be at minimum flat colored drawings with a background
You will earn 5 points every time you level, and up to 10 depending on time and effort
Level 0
Limit: 1 cat
>Create your thread
>Claim your founder
>Describe your clan
Level 1
Limit: 2 cats
>Describe your founder's relationship with another cat in the clan
>Describe your clan's camp and territory (150+ words)
>Write a personality or history for one of your cats (200+ words)
Level 2
Limit: 4 cats
>Write about a cat moving up in the ranks (apprentice to warrior, deputy to leader or vice versa). If you do not have a set ranking system, write about or draw a scene about your cat getting injured, or being treated for their injuries
>Write about your clan's reputation
>Write a personality or history for one of your cats (200+ words)
Level 3
Limit: 6 cats
>Write about or draw a scene of your choice
>Write about or draw one of your cats meeting their ancestors (250+ words)
>Pick a quest to complete!
Level 4
Limit: 10 cats
> Write or draw a scene of someone finding love (200+ words)
> Describe the relationship between two of your cats
> Pick a quest to complete!
Level 5
Limit: 15 cats
>Write about a major meeting in your clan
>Write about how at least 2 cats are an important part of how the group runs
>Write or draw a scene of someone making a friend, or how they met one of their friends
Level 6+
Limit: 20 cats, +5 for every level after
>Write a personality or history for two of your cats (200+ words each)
>Write about or draw a scene of your choice
>Pick 2 quests to complete!
QUESTS LIST:
Quests are prompts that you can pick and choose to use when you are leveling up, or just to develop your clan further for points to put towards rewards. Be sure to read up on whether you can choose quests for your level!
please note that if you are using a quest to level up, you will not receive the points for them. You may only earn points from here if you use these prompts outside of levels. You also may not use a prompt from here twice in a row for leveling (So if you use a quest for level 3, you must use a different one for level 4 but you may use it for level 6 and so on)
All quests must be at least 200+ words and/or a flat color with a background. Please show effort!
Completing quests outside of leveling will grant you 5 points minimum and can get up to 10 depending on time and effort
-Write or draw about a patrol
-Write about an encounter with a loner. What happened after?
-Describe a clan tradition
-Write about your group's code
-Write a brief history about your clan (You can stack on paragraphs and therefore points!)
-Write about the relationship between one of your cats and either another user's cat or another one of your own
-Write about or draw about one of your cats exploring the territory for the first time
-Write about or draw a conflict your group or one of your cats encounter
-Draw two pieces of gift art for other users
