RULES

BASIC RULES
‣ please follow all cs rules. anyone violating this rule will be reported to mods.
‣ treat everyone with kindness and respect
‣ you may only adopt up to (2) villagers a day
‣ you must create a village after your first adopt!
‣ you can enter as many adoptions as you'd like/own as many villagers as you'd like!
‣ you can purchase items/tickets without having an adopt, but not without a village


TRADING
‣ you may only trade villagers/items for other villagers/items within the community!
‣ you may trade items for villagers or vice versa
‣ there is a cool down of one week between trading villagers
‣ you must own a villager for one week before trading
‣ you must remove villagers from your village forum once traded (you are free to keep them as long as you mark that they have been traded and no longer claim them as your own)


WARNINGS/BANS
‣ i have a three strike warning system! you will be notified of each warning after it's given
‣ all of your villagers will be taken out of circulation if banned
‣ all banned users will be placed on a list and will no longer be allowed to participate in my adopts


STAFF
‣ guest staff may create 1 custom per month as long as 3+ adopts have been created and won
‣ permanent staff may create 2 customs per month with the same rules as above
‣ must reply to all questions with kindness and respect
‣ must update every made adopt with a proper name and number


OTHER
‣ once an adopt is won, you will be added to the drawing by the artist, and you may add any information to their description that is relevant and agreed upon in the initial adopt page
‣ contests are run on EST

VILLAGES / ITEMS / CURRENCY / CUSTOMS / TREATS

VILLAGES
‣ villages are where you will store your data for villagers; it is a storage unit on the forum where you keep your villagers, your bank, and any items you obtain
‣ in order to begin adopting villagers, you must make a village on the character storage forum
‣ please make a separate post for your bank within your village - keeping things organized will make sure there are no miscommunications when adopting/purchasing villagers/items/tickets

CURRENCY
‣ fish are used as basic currency in villagers
‣ fish can be used to purchase items, buy customs/myo, obtain villagers through trade, and craft custom items!
‣ you can obtain fish by: winning adopts, participating in events, entering contests, buying customs/myo
‣ you can trade fish for items/villagers
‣ you must keep track of your fish. your bank is your responsibility (please provide links as proof of obtaining your fish fairly)
‣ you may gift fish to others. please update bank with this trade + proof of trade.
‣ c$ may be used as an alternative to fish
‣ tickets can be purchased using c$ to rename or remake a catchphrase of an adopted villager

ITEMS
‣ items can be used to help define characteristics of villagers and give them unique personalities
‣ items include: clothing, accessories, furniture, tickets
‣ items can be obtained by winning adopts, crafting custom items, buying customs/myo, and trading in fish at the store
‣ store items do have a pre-determined value, but can be sold for more depending on demand
‣ you can trade items for fish/villagers

CUSTOM/MYO BASICS
‣ customs/myo can be purchased using c$ for those who do not want to save up fish
‣ staff customs/myo can have up to 3 items to start (highest tier)
‣ purchased customs come with (one) complimentary rename/catchphrase ticket to rename an adopted villager or change their catchphrase

CRAFTING/STORE
‣ store items (including furniture, items, clothing, accessories) can be purchased in the item shop using currency - this includes both fish and c$
‣ the item shop is where premade items will go to be auctioned off for fish, c$, or through competition
‣ custom items (including furniture, clothing, accessories, and tickets) can be crafted in the [url]craft shop[/url] using currency - this includes both fish and c$; please keep in mind that custom items will be much more expensive than premade ones

TREATS
‣ treats are essentially items that, when purchased, allow you to receive a random item of value
‣ every treat will be marked as to what kind of item will be inside of the treat
‣ examples include: furniture, clothing, tickets, currency, and custom/myo gift cards
‣ treats can be purchased using fish, c$, and won through contest

RULES FOR CURRENCY/ITEMS/CUSTOMS
‣ please keep proof of trades/purchases somewhere - if i cannot confirm that you have purchased something, then i cannot guarantee you sale
‣ please be respectful when making purchases/creating items and customs - rude and intolerant behavior will get you a strike/banned
‣ do not harass users for items/currency/villagers/tickets - violation of this rule can be an instant ban from villagers
‣ do not claim anything you do not own - if you are caught, it is an instant ban
‣ update your bank regularly; if you try to make a purchase without an updated bank multiple times, it will earn you a strike
