dog mimic kid! they can close their jaws fully, and the "excess" mouth is hidden by soft fur. they mope around pretending to be a lost stray and when someone approaches to pet them, they unhinge their jaw and devour the unlucky person
edit: if you decide to do it, i like short fur, bright oranges/yellows/greens & white markings
