- Welcome to the nursery, where cute little baby vaikis are born! Baby vaikis hatch from nests of one or two eggs. The eggs are speckled with the colors of the babies.

Nursery Rules
- Vaikis don't always mate for life, so they don't have to be mates to breed.
- Dwarf vaikis can breed with other dwarfs, and full sized vaikis can breed with other full sized ones.
- Vaikis may breed up to four times.
- You must own one (or both) of the vaikis breeding to post a ticket, and have permission from the other owner.
- The parents' owners can decide between keeping, gifting, or adopting out the child.
- The genders of the children are up to the owners.
- If you're using a breeding item, it must be included in the ticket when you post.
- Baby vaikis can be grown one month after they are created.
- All main vaiki rules apply to vaikis adopted from the nursery.
Cooldown Rules
- There is a cooldown of one month from when the batch is posted before either parent can breed again.
- Vaikis must be owned for at least one month before breeding.
- Vaikis must be adults for at least one month before breeding.
- All of a vaiki's current children must have owners before that vaiki can breed again. The decided owner(s) must be posted on the nursery batch at least 24 hours before posting a new ticket for either parent.
- You may only submit one ticket at a time. Please wait until that breeding is finished before posting another ticket.
Rolling and Passing Down Traits
- Twins are rolled with a random number generator at a 30% chance.
- Edits aren’t rolled for, they are passed down freely as decided by the artist.
- The only exceptions are short finless tails and the lack of a backfin, both parents must have the trait for it to pass on.
- When passing down traits keep in mind that all vaikis have at least one fin.
- Ask ege about anything you're unsure of!
Tickets
- Only submit tickets when an artist opens slots.
- Fill out the form completely.
- Don't edit your ticket after posting.
