Phenotype: Black silver classic torbie with gold eyes
Genotype: ll | BB | Oo | DD | Aa | mcmc | spsp | tata | Ii | ww
More questions:
Without the wideband gene, how does one determine if a silver is a chinchilla, shaded, or smoke?
I typically go by WbWb is chinchilla, Wbwb is shaded, wbwb is smoke (all paired with inhibitor allele).
When a cat does not have the inhibitor allele, WbWb = golden chinchilla; Wbwb = golden shaded.
Is there another system Soft uses, or are all solid silvers genetically the same, and golden silvers are dropped?
