Artist Rules


• Must make their own breeding/custom request thread (NOT on the oekaki) which will be linked in the Hatchery Artist Directory and Custom Artist Directory posts.
  
• Must post in the Hatchery thread whenever you have slots open and should edit the post when the slots have been filled. Each time you open slots, you should make a new post in the Hatchery thread (even if you must double post or more).
• Must complete a litter within 2 weeks of accepting it, or the requester is free to go to a different artist.
• Must create all litters in the Hekund Hatchery thread.
• Must number all litters and pups in a litter in order according to the litter number convention of L#.# (EX: L1.1, L1.2, L13.3, L13.4, etc).
• Must post a litter cover with the correct number of eggs in the clutch and the litter's number clearly visible. All pups will be posted individually under the cover.
• May not make your own forms to be filled out, must use the form on the Hatchery thread.

Breeding Rules


• DO NOT post in this thread requesting a breeding, post in an open artist's request thread.
  
• Hekunds do not have to be in the same pack in order to breed.
• Hekunds do not have to be owned by the same person in order to breed, but you must show proof of permission if breeding your Hekunds with someone else’s.
• Hekunds have no separate physical gender characteristics and can breed with any other adult Hekund.
• Hekunds cannot be bred with any family member within 2 levels of separation (obviously parents and children cannot be bred and siblings cannot be bred, but also a grandchild cannot be bred with a grandparent and aunts/uncles cannot be bred with nieces/nephews).
• Hekunds do not have to mate for life.
• A Hekund can be bred once every 2 months, up to 6 times. The countdown begins from the time you post the breeding ticket, not from the time that the completed litter is posted.
• Breedings may be between 2, 3, or 4 Hekunds at a time, however, only the pups’ designs may be mixed between 3-4 parents, Genotypes for pups must be determined between 2 parents only.
• Litters will consist of 2-4 pups (rolled randomly for every litter).
• A Hekund cannot be bred until it has been owned for at least 1 month and has a personality written for it.
• Pups will be considered adults 2 months after the date they were posted and cannot be bred before this time.

Fill this out for all 4 possible pups, in the order you want them to be used, so if you only roll for 2 or 3 pups, the Genotypes you most want are used. Delete this section if there are only 2 parents being bred.[/i]
