Now the characters,
Alana is the daughter of a fisherman and a mermaid. She doesn't have many physical mermaid attributes other than her hair. She can also swim well and hold her breath long. She has anger issues and will yell at anyone for anything. She works as a lifeguard part time.
Kyla is an angelic dog. She's not exactly a 'fallen angel' but she is a naughty one. She can be found playing pranks in heaven and regularly making visits to earth because she's bored.
Talbott is a demo robot kitty from the year 2045. He is being piloted in a house to see what the kinks are with the programming. He lives with a family of three, two parents and a young daughter. The main goal of the project is to make pets lower maintenance.
