haven't been the most active in my species since i moved, but i'm back and starting on my to-do list. decided to make this so i can get it out of the way.
i was originally going to make a competition for a background only, but i decided i wasn't too happy with the lines i had made for them.
this species is based on my oc, jay, who is featured on the cover.
there are example lines underneath! i would prefer the pose to be normal standing straight, but go wild.

mirror mutts are canid creatures that range in sizes, and come in many fur types.
they are most closely related to gray wolves, but could be mistaken for other breeds of domestic dogs, and sometimes, even direwolves.
they are mystical and mysterious creatures, and always bare a mirror on their body, usually on the torso or shoulders. they can be small reflective shapes, such as crescents, hearts, and many other things, or can take up large proportions of their bodies, such as hair, their limbs, their neck, and their tail. sometimes, even their eyes can be made of this odd shiny material.
